I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas and have a passion for walking alongside individuals and couples as they pursue healing, wholeness, and healthy relationships. I consider it a privilege to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, known, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from Walden University, my Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. My education, training, and professional experience have prepared me to work with individuals across the lifespan.
I work with clients experiencing a variety of concerns, including attachment wounds, trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, infidelity and betrayal, stress, and burnout.
My counseling approach is compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to the unique needs of each person. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adaptive Information Processing (AIP), and other therapeutic interventions selected according to each client’s needs and goals.
I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), with specialized training in helping individuals and couples impacted by sexual addiction, betrayal, and relational trauma. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Neurofeedback.
I believe we are created as whole persons—body, mind, and soul. For clients who desire faith to be part of their counseling journey, I consider it a privilege to integrate professional counseling with a Christian worldview. I also welcome clients from all backgrounds and beliefs and seek to respect each person’s values throughout the counseling process.
At the heart of my work is a desire to meet each person with compassion and respect. It is my honor to walk alongside clients as they process life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and move toward greater emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.
